Product Details

CISON FG-VT9 9 cc V-twin V2 Engine Air-Cooled Motorcycle RC Gasoline Engine.

Latest Version!

Key improvements in the new version (FG-18VTP):

  • Increased displacement: Originally 9 cm³, later expanded to 15.7 cm³, and now to 18.2 cm³ for more power and smoother operation.
  • Larger bore: Increased from 16.67 mm to 20 mm for improved combustion.
  • Extended stroke: Lengthened from 21 mm to 29 mm for more torque and better overall performance.
  • Improved exhaust system: The previous stainless steel exhaust pipe was replaced by a 3D-printed exhaust system, which is lighter and more elegant.

A V2 engine, also known as a V-twin, is a two-cylinder engine in which the cylinders form a “V”. It is also referred to as a Panhead engine, as it is an overhead-valve Harley-Davidson motorcycle engine, named because the rocker covers resemble cooking pans. The engines are arranged in a V-configuration with angles greater than 0 but less than 180 degrees. Sometimes the cylinders can form a 90-degree angle, which is called an L-twin. These engines are primarily used for their compact size, high power-to-displacement ratio, and low power-to-torque ratio. Since the late 1880s, V2 engines have also been used in motorcycles and some small cars. The most widely used V-twin engines are the 45° Harley-Davidson motorcycles, most of which are air-cooled, but there are also water-jacketed engines and the water-cooled VRod engine. Vibrations are often associated with the myth of the V-twin, but are an unfortunate side effect of the most popular design. Harley placed the two cylinders at a 45-degree angle to each other on a common crankcase so the engine would fit into a bicycle-like frame originally intended for a single-cylinder engine. Unfortunately, a 45-degree V-angle has a distinct vibration signature. Most engine experts agree that the soul of the V-twin lies in the vibration and shaking of the engine compartment. There is no doubt that most engine connoisseurs believe the soul of the V-twin lies in the trembling and quaking of the engine compartment.

Scope of delivery:
  • Engine only: Engine fully assembled with ignition system and exhaust pipes
  • Engine with wooden base: Engine fully assembled on a wooden base with ignition system, exhaust pipes, fuel tank, and electronic accessories

Impressive attention to detail:
The authentic rocker cover on the classic cylinder head and the gearbox cover allow the model to restore the original charm and come closer to a real motorcycle engine, depicting the most notable features of a motorcycle from that era.

Compatible with RC vehicles:
Features a larger cylinder diameter and a longer stroke for better displacement, along with stronger connecting rods to provide excellent torque protection when installed on vehicles.

Reliable construction:
Utilizes an OHV valve mechanism, a 45° angle between two cylinders, a realistic hemispherical combustion chamber, an intake rocker arm with a V-shaped angle, and a removable rocker cover chamber for easier observation and adjustment of the engine.

Reliable and high performance:
Equipped with a large-area heat sink for incredible air-cooling effects, the engine is able to operate stably by maintaining low speeds, and supports the use of various fuels for smoother combustion thanks to the optimized carburetor.

Delivery time notice:
This item is imported upon customer order. Therefore, there may occasionally be slight deviations in the delivery time. We do our best to meet the stated delivery times and will, of course, keep you informed about the current status of your order.
