In September 2021, CISON launched the first FG-VT9 V-twin engine, which was very positively received and highly praised by model building enthusiasts. Due to high demand from model building fans worldwide, CISON decided to launch the new FG-VT157 V-twin engine in November 2022. With the FG-VT157, the V-twin series is expanded by an era that reappears in the history of motorcycle engines.
Based on the FG-VT9, the FG-VT157 V-twin engine was designed with the same dimensions and components used for other engines. However, CISON has also incorporated several new design elements to make it unique, such as the classic and highly detailed appearance, larger pistons and cylinder liners, a spherical combustion chamber, a V-shaped angle valve, an upgraded carburetor, and much more.
Impressive Attention to Detail:
The authentic rocker cover on the classic cylinder head and the gear cover allow the model to restore its original charm and come closer to a real motorcycle engine, showcasing the most notable features of a motorcycle from that era.
Compatible with RC Vehicles:
Features a larger cylinder diameter and a longer stroke for better displacement, along with stronger connecting rods to provide excellent torque protection when installed on vehicles.
Reliable Construction:
Utilizes an OHV valve mechanism, a 45° angle between two cylinders, a realistic hemispherical combustion chamber, an intake rocker arm with a V-shaped angle, and a removable rocker cover chamber for easier observation and adjustment of the engine.
Reliable and High Performance:
Equipped with a large-area heat sink for incredible air-cooling effects, the engine is capable of operating stably by maintaining low speeds, and supports the use of various fuels for more consistent combustion thanks to the optimized carburetor.
