New vs. Old – Key Improvements

Structural Reinforcement:

The engine now uses flanged bearings at the front and rear of the cylinder block, completely eliminating previous wear issues caused by migrating bearings. The result is significantly more stability and durability during operation.
Optimized Performance:

The compression ratio has been re-tuned, requiring less fuel injection and increasing spark plug lifespan. These adjustments prevent typical wear and tear and ensure smoother, more stable power delivery.

Improved Smoothness:

The carburetor rotor has been hardened to ensure smooth rotation without jamming – a common issue with components made from conventional steel. In combination with a distributor that adjusts ignition timing according to throttle position, the engine allows for lower idle speeds and higher peak performance.

Extended Durability:

Coated pistons now offer 200% better wear and corrosion resistance. Additional valve stem seals and optimized rocker arm lubrication significantly reduce oil consumption and fuel spray, greatly extending the engine’s lifespan.

This mini beast is set to become another classic in the world of scale engines, impressing enthusiasts with its remarkable features. The design of the V8-440 (OHV) is inspired by the Chevrolet V8 and aims for an extremely realistic appearance. It features an exquisite orange electroplated finish, a high-lift four-point bearing camshaft, larger intake valves compared to exhaust valves, a five-point bearing crankshaft, reinforced and hardened connecting rods, optional dual cast iron piston rings, an independent lubrication system, and a dual-layer gear water pump. The Small-Block V8 isn’t just a roaring beast on your desk; it’s also a “powerhouse” compatible with RC models, offering higher torque and performance.

Extremely Realistic:
The exquisite electroplated finish gives the engine a lifelike look, makes it suitable for operation with real fuel, and provides space for installing an optional generator.

Precision Manufacturing:
The cylinder is precision-machined using 5-axis CNC, with a repeatability of 0.005 mm for superior assembly accuracy.

Long Stroke:
High-angle, wear-resistant camshaft with high hardness, 4-point bearing camshaft, larger intake valve, unaffected by temperature fluctuations thanks to the low-temperature intake manifold.

Crankshaft and Connecting Rods:
Reinforced and hardened wear-resistant connecting rods, optional dual cast iron piston rings (oil rings are optional), 5-point bearing crankshaft for increased durability and stability at high RPMs.

Durable Operation:
Equipped with a dual-layer gear water pump, independent lubrication system, and reserved oil filter installation position. This OHV version model can be combined with a rocker arm forced lubrication system, where the rocker arm lubricant is returned to the cylinder block bores, as well as an oil pan with an oil level gauge.
