The Sheffield-based company Thomas Flinn produces arguably the finest traditional gent’s saws. “A cut above the rest” is their motto, under which they offer meticulously crafted traditional saws with solid brass backs. The gent’s saws from the “Pax” model range, a brand established in 1776 and revived by Thomas Flinn, are featured here. Beyond their practical utility – delivering first-class cuts – these saws are a pleasure to behold. They are carefully straightened and set for drift-free cuts. These saws can be sharpened with a saw file.
