The Sheffield-based company Thomas Flinn produces arguably the finest traditional fine saws. “A cut above the rest” is their motto, under which they offer meticulously crafted traditional saws with solid brass backs. The “Pax” series of fine saws, a brand established in 1776 and revived by Thomas Flinn, are presented here. Beyond their practical utility—first-class cuts—these saws are a delight to the eye. For precise, drift-free cuts, they are carefully set and sharpened. These saws can be sharpened with a saw file.
