T-BucketHot Rod Engineering in 1:5 Scale

A T-Bucket thrives on its mechanics. Open frame, exposed axles, mighty V8, and only as much bodywork as absolutely necessary. We wanted to transfer exactly this character to 1:5 scale.

The ScaleMonkey T-Bucket was designed based on original plans from California Custom Roadsters. Not only do the proportions follow the full-size original – we also deliberately take a different approach to materials and manufacturing than in classic RC model building.

The frame is made of steel profiles and welded. Chassis components are specially designed and manufactured for the model, the bodywork is traditionally made of GRP. At its heart, if desired, sits a real 44 cm³ V8 four-stroke engine, for the integration of which we have developed numerous components ourselves.

The result is not a finished model that takes every decision out of your hands. The T-Bucket is an exceptional technical base for model builders who want to build, tune, and give their vehicle its own character.
