New vs. Old – The Most Important Improvements

Structural Reinforcement:

The engine now uses flange bearings at the front and rear of the cylinder block, completely eliminating previous wear issues caused by wandering bearings. The result is significantly more stability and durability during operation.
Optimized Performance:

The compression ratio has been retuned, requiring less fuel injection and increasing spark plug life. These adjustments prevent typical signs of wear and ensure a smoother, more stable power output.

Improved Smoothness:

The carburetor rotor has been hardened to ensure smooth rotation without jamming – a common failure in components made of conventional steel. Combined with a distributor that adjusts ignition timing according to throttle position, the engine allows for lower idle speeds and higher peak performance.

Longer Durability:

Coated pistons now offer 200% better wear and corrosion resistance. Additional valve stem seals and optimized rocker arm lubrication significantly reduce oil burning and fuel spray, greatly extending the engine’s lifespan.

Following the success of the single-cylinder, V2, and L4 engine models, Cison now presents the Small-Block V8. This mini beast is set to become another classic in the world of scale engines, impressing enthusiasts with its remarkable features. The design of the V8-440(OHV) is inspired by the Chevrolet V8 and strives for a highly realistic appearance. It features, among other things, an exquisite electroplated orange finish, a high-lift camshaft supported at four points, larger intake valves compared to the exhaust valves, a crankshaft supported at five points, reinforced and hardened connecting rods, optional double cast iron piston rings, an independent lubrication system, and a double-layer gear water pump. The Small-Block V8 is not only a roaring beast on your desk but also a “powerhouse” compatible with RC models, offering higher torque and performance.

Highly Realistic:
The exquisite electroplated finish gives the engine a lifelike appearance, is suitable for operation with real fuel, and provides space for the installation of an optional generator.

Precision Manufacturing:
The cylinder is precision-machined using 5-axis CNC, with a repeatability of 0.005 mm for better assembly accuracy.

Long Stroke:
High-angle, wear-resistant camshaft with high hardness, 4-point supported camshaft, larger intake valve, unaffected by temperature fluctuations with a low-temperature intake pipe.

Crankshaft and Connecting Rods:
Reinforced and hardened wear-resistant connecting rods, optional double cast iron piston rings (oil rings are optional), 5-point supported crankshaft for increased operational strength and stability at high RPMs.

Durable Operation:
Equipped with a double-layer gear water pump, independent lubrication system, and reserved oil filter installation position. This model in the OHV version can be combined with a rocker arm forced lubrication system, where the rocker arm lubricant is returned to the cylinder block bores, as well as an oil pan with an oil level indicator.
