Description
The new CISON V8 44ccm Small-Block engine in 1:6 scale. It is a water-cooled 4-stroke 8-cylinder internal combustion engine designed to run on gasoline. A fascinating model kit of a working V8 engine.
Following the success of its single-cylinder, V2, and L4 engine models, Cison now presents the Small-Block V8. This mini-beast is set to become another classic in the world of scale engines, impressing enthusiasts with its remarkable features. The design of the V8-440(OHV) is inspired by the Chevrolet V8, aiming for an extremely realistic appearance. Among its features are an exquisite galvanic orange finish, a high-lift camshaft supported at four points, larger intake valves compared to exhaust valves, a crankshaft supported at five points, reinforced and hardened connecting rods, optional double cast iron piston rings, an independent lubrication system, and a dual-layer gear water pump. The Small-Block V8 is not just a roaring beast on your desk, but also a ‘powerhouse’ compatible with RC models, offering higher torque and performance.

Extremely Realistic:
The exquisite galvanic finish ensures a lifelike appearance for the engine, is suitable for operation with real fuel, and provides space for the installation of an optional generator.
Precision Manufacturing:
The cylinder is precision-machined with 5-axis CNC, achieving a repeatability of 0.005 mm for improved assembly accuracy.
High Lift:
High-angle, high-hardness, wear-resistant camshaft, supported at 4 points, with a larger intake valve, unaffected by temperature fluctuations due to a low-temperature intake manifold.
Crankshaft and Connecting Rods:
Reinforced and hardened wear-resistant connecting rods, optional double cast iron piston rings (oil rings are optional), 5-point supported crankshaft for increased operational strength and stability at high RPMs.
Durable Operation:
Equipped with a dual-layer gear water pump, an independent lubrication system, and a reserved oil filter installation position. This OHV version model can be combined with a forced rocker arm lubrication system, where the rocker arm lubricant is returned to the cylinder block bores, and an oil pan with an oil level indicator.

Sicherheitshinweise:Operation and Starting
- Never run the engine indoors, as toxic exhaust gases (carbon monoxide) are produced.
- Secure and fix the model on a test stand before starting or have a second person hold it.
- Never reach into the rotating propeller area. Use a chicken stick or electric starter for starting.
- Always keep yourself and others to the side or behind the propeller, never directly in the plane of rotation.
Fuel and Fire Safety
- Model fuels (methanol, nitromethane, or gasoline) are highly flammable. Do not handle near open flames or while smoking.
- Avoid skin contact with fuel and do not inhale vapors. Use well-ventilated areas.
- Store fuel only in approved, labeled containers out of reach of children.
Maintenance and Inspection
- Always disconnect the spark plug cap during cleaning and carburetor adjustments to prevent unexpected engine start.
- Check all screws, the engine mount, and linkages for tight fit before each start, as vibrations can loosen parts.
- Do not touch the cylinder head and exhaust (muffler) with bare hands after operation – severe burn hazard.
